– FAQ’s
Is the FLOAT system more cost-effective?
Yes. The FLOAT system is typically more cost-effective than traditional office carpet replacement because there is no requirement to clear office spaces, move furniture, or disconnect equipment.
Phones, computers, and electrical equipment can remain in place and fully operational throughout the installation, reducing downtime and associated business disruption costs.
In many cases, this makes the FLOAT system significantly more economical than relocating staff or preparing empty workspaces.
How do you price the service?
We price each project based on the square metre area and the specific requirements of the installation, including any disposal or uplift requirements.
Following a site survey, we provide a clear, itemised quotation tailored to your project scope.
If we cannot store the new carpet tiles on-site, what happens?
If storage space is limited, we can arrange secure storage for your carpet tiles prior to installation.
We then deliver materials to site in controlled phases, coordinating each stage of the installation to match the agreed schedule.
Are the adhesives and materials safe for occupied offices?
Yes. All adhesives, screeds, and installation materials we use are water-based, low-emission, and suitable for use in occupied commercial environments.
They are fully compliant with current health and safety standards, allowing staff to safely continue working during and after installation.
Can you recycle old carpet tiles?
Yes. We can offer recycling or responsible disposal options for old carpet tiles as part of the initial project consultation.
Do you offer additional flooring services?
Yes. In addition to carpet tile installation, we also provide:
– Vinyl flooring replacement
– Stair nosing replacement
– Flooring upgrades around vending and service areas
– Additional commercial flooring solutions where required
Do you provide Health & Safety documentation?
Yes. We supply full Health & Safety documentation prior to commencement of works, including:
– Method statements
– Risk assessments
– COSHH information where applicable
Are you fully insured?
Yes. We hold full public liability insurance of up to £10 million per claim for all commercial flooring projects.
